OUR REPERTOIRE
Ballet Theatre UK is a power house of classical creativity and boasts a large repertoire of full ballet productions all created by Artistic Director, Christopher Moore. Our productions include reimagined classics such as Swan Lake, Giselle and The Nutcracker as well as entirely new creations such as The Snow Queen, The Little Mermaid and A Christmas Carol to name but a few.
Every production features sets and costumes all designed and made in house by the company's extensive creative artists including set and lighting designers, costume makers and more. This allows the company to create spectacular productions that are truly conceptualised from the initial idea through to opening night. This has allowed Ballet Theatre UK to develop its own style, distinct to the company, across all aspects of the production.
ROMEO AND JULIET

An age-old vendetta between the Capulet and the Montague families is tested by Romeo and Juliet become Star crossed lovers after meeting at the Capulets ball.
The couple arrange to marry the next day. However, after Romeo is embroiled in Juliet’s own cousin, Tybalt’s death and banished from Verona a series of tragic events follow as the couple desperately try to reunite.
Will the greatest love story of all time, end the feud of two fighting families?
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

When Belle’s father is imprisoned in a mysterious castle, her attempt to rescue him leads to her capture by the Beast, a grisly and fearsome monster.
The only way the Beast may become human again is if he learns to love and be loved in return. The curse set by the Enchantress is bound by a magical rose.
If the final petal falls all hope will be lost and he will remain a Beast forever. Will love conquer all?
THE SNOW QUEEN

The Snow Queen follows the story of Gerda and her quest to find her friend Kay, whom the Snow Queen has placed under an evil spell.
Gerda’s fantastic adventure takes her on a journey across the frozen north where she encounters a band of gipsies, enchanted reindeer, and a mysterious and reclusive Lapland woman. Gerda is told by the mysterious woman to continue travelling north, where she will find Kay and the Snow Queen’s Palace of Ice.
Only Gerda’s love for Kay can release him from the spell and break the Snow Queen’s curse of eternal winter.
GISELLE

Giselle, a young girl falls for an aristocrat in disguise. When she realises his deception, the shock sends her mad and she dies of a broken heart.
Her spirit is raised from the grave by a vengeful Queen who leads the Willis to destroy all men who have betrayed women, including Albrecht.
Giselle must summon all her tenderness and strength to save him from certain death.
THE WIZARD OF OZ

Dorothy and Toto are taken to the magical land of Oz when a tornado hits Kansas.
Setting off to find the Wizard of Oz to help her return home, Dorothy meets her new friends, the scarecrow, tinman, and lion to join her on her adventure.
The Wicked Witch of the West tries to destroy Dorothy’s plan, but will they defeat her to find that there really is no place like home?
SWAN LAKE

This immortal tale tells of Princess Odette held captive as a swan by the spell of the evil magician Von Rothbart.
Odette spends her days as a swan swimming on a lake of tears and her nights in her beautiful human form.
The spell that can only be broken if a Prince Siegfried swears true love to her.

Margot Fonteyn was instrumental in shaping of the Royal Ballet company and the direction of British Ballet.
Fonteyn’s charming quality and steely technique set the standards for the British Ballerina’s.
We marked the centenary of the great ballet icon with a celebration of her greatest moments in the classical ballet repertoire, including highlights from Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Giselle and many more.

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, Princess Aurora lived in an enchanted castle where fairies bestowed her with gifts of beauty, temperament, purity, joy and generosity.
The wicked Fairy Carabosse places a curse on Aurora - to prick her finger on a spinning wheel on her 16th birthday... and die!
The beautiful and kind Lilac Fairy casts a spell to counter the curse so that instead of dying Aurora fell asleep for a hundred years. Only the touch of true love’s kiss could awaken her and undo the evil spell…

In the enchanted forest, four Athenians run away to the forest only to have Puck the mischievous fairy make both boys fall in love with the same girl.
The four run through the forest pursuing each other while Puck helps his master play a trick on the fairy queen.
Will Puck reverse his magic and allow love and to save the day?
THE LITTLE MERMAID

The Little Mermaid falls in love with a human Prince and gives up everything to win his love.
The kind-hearted Little Mermaid rescues the Prince during a storm at sea and begins a journey that takes her far from her home beneath the waves.
Determined to pursue her love on to the shore she makes a bargain with an evil Sea Witch, but it comes at a heavy price.
THE NUTCRACKER

It’s Christmas Eve and Clara receives a wonderful gift of a wooden soldier Nutcracker doll.
Unable to sleep, Clara makes her way downstairs to discover the Nutcracker is now life sized and they begin their adventure together through the night.
Meeting the Sugar Plum Fairy and many more characters along the way. Can this magical evening all have been a dream?
ALICE IN WONDERLAND

Following the White Rabbit down a large hole, Alice is transported into an incredible Wonderland.
On her adventure Alice meets all kinds of characters including the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts, a studious caterpillar and those mischievous twins, Tweedledum and Tweedledee.
When Alice crosses paths with the Queen of Hearts, will she survive the drama than unfolds?
PINOCCHIO

This story follows a poor woodcutter father, Geppetto and the cheeky marionette puppet, Pinocchio with an unruly nose, on his epic quest to become a real boy.
The Blue Fairy and Jiminy Cricket take Pinocchio on a heartfelt journey of discovery as he overcomes obstacles, faces consequences, and even ends up in the belly of a whale.
Can Pinocchio prove that dreams really can come true?
ALADDIN

CINDERELLA

Cinderella, a sad and lonely girl, lives with her wicked stepmother and evil stepsisters and dreams of a life of happiness.
After a visit from her magical Fairy Godmother, she attends the Prince’s Ball in disguise dressed in a gown and glass slippers. He falls in love with her at first sight, but the magic was not made to last.
At midnight Cinderella leaves the party in a hurry, leaving one of the glass slippers behind. Will the Prince be able to find his one true love again?
